Adriatico, located in the heart of Stavanger, offers a trip to Italy by offering authentic Italian décor, sensational starters, mouthwatering mains, and homemade desserts. Adriatico is owned and run by Eldar Cindrak who has a passion for people and inspired by amazing Italian cuisine combined with Mediterranean-style dishes.

When you visit Adriatico you will be greeted by the staff like you are an old friend. The chequered tablecloths, synonymous with traditional Italian dining combined with the Mediterranean-style surroundings will make you feel like you are far away from Stavanger.

Calzone

Calzone originated from the beautiful city of Napoli in Italy. They were sold on the streets and intended to be eaten on the go. At this time, calzones were actually formed by simply folding an uncooked pizza in half before baking it.

When Eldar prepares the calzone, the outer crust is baked crispy while the cheesy mozzarella filling is warm, gooey and delicious.

Osso Bucco

Osso buco is an Italian dish of braised veal shanks, which Eldar cross-cuts from the leg bone beneath the knee and shoulder. As the shank is a tougher cut of meat – slow cooking in liquid is essential for the melt-in-your-mouth texture that Eldar’s osso buco is known for.

The dish, a staple of Lombard cuisine, is traditionally garnished with gremolata – a green, herbaceous sauce with lots of bright flavor.

Penne Arrabbiata

Penne arrabbiata is one of the most famous dishes of the Lazio region of Italy. The pasta dish is made with with plenty of red chili peppers (peperoncini) or as the Italians say – “sauce in the angry way”.

Eldar’s penne arrabbiata has lots of fresh flavors mixed in with fresh parsley, basil and his home made peperoncini can leave some susceptible savorers ‘red in the face.’
